WLN's 13th Annual Leadership and Activist Training Conference

Since 2010, Western Liberty Network's annual conferences have brought top-flight activist training and national-caliber speakers to our area. Always themed, "TAKE THE OFFENSIVE!," The purpose of our conferences is to provide you with the information and inspiration you need to be politically successful where you live in the coming election cycle.

This year, WLN's Annual Conference will be held at 9am on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at the Holiday Inn Portland Columbia Riverfront hotel, located at 909 N Hayden Island Drive in Portland. Your admission will include a quality hot buffet lunch, an attendee packet packed with useful information, an event badge, and a free day parking ticket! A free ice-breaking reception at the conference hotel will take place at 7pm on February 4th with hot appetizers, and a no-host bar where you can mix with trainers, features speakers, and fellow activists.

There will be 20 breakout sessions, each led by experts in their respective fields, organized along four tracks of instruction (you can mix and match throughout the day): 1) Fighting for Parental Rights and School Choice, 2) Becoming a More Effective Citizen Lobbyist, 3) Running for and Winning Local Non-Partisan Office in 2023 and, 4) Skills to Promote Election Integrity and Good Government.

There will also be three assemblies during the day where speakers of import at the national and statewide levels will give you important information to use in the coming year. At present, confirmed speakers include fmr. NATO ambassador and presidential envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker, FreedomWorks vice president of policy Cesar Ybarra, and Chief Petitioner for Education Freedom for Oregon Marc Thielman, former candidate for Oregon governor Brandon Merritt, and others!
